Whatever the weather, you will always find something fun and interesting to do during your stay at our luxury Bude Holiday Cottages.
Swimming Pool
Our indoor heated swimming pool is open from 8am-8pm every day and is kept at a constant 84 degrees - perfect for that early morning dip or a late afternoon relax. We probably have one of the best views from our swimming pool in Cornwall, overlooking our farmland with views of our local village, Kilkhampton. If you are lucky enough you will even spot one or two of our sheep grazing in the field next door, something that we believe is unique to our Bude holiday cottages.
Games Room
Our games room is located next to the indoor swimming pool and is well equipped with a pool table, darts, table tennis, giant connect 4 and table football, and is open to anybody staying in our Bude cottages. This is the ideal place for those 'friendly' family competitions! Parents against children – who will win?
Animals
During your stay you are welcome to join us for animal feeding and collecting eggs. We normally gather outside the office each morning at 10am.
Ponies
We are very lucky in that when we bought Woodlands Manor Farm we inherited 3 Shetland ponies all with different personalities and all who love a bit of attention. Everyday we go to their fields and feed them apples and carrots and we always welcome an extra pair of hands or two should you wish to help us feed them. This sort of experience is what makes our Bude holiday cottages special.
Sheep
We have 10 ewes and they help to keep the grass down around the farm and staying in our luxury Bude holiday cottages will let you see them all.
Chickens
Our new chicken house has been built and we are now the proud owners of our first flock of chickens. They are settling in well and are laying very tasty eggs! We use the eggs in our home-made cakes that we make for the cottages and we also sell them direct to our guests.
Ducks
Our duck pond has just been completely cleared and cleaned and we now have a small group of Call Ducks that keep us entertained when they wander up to our office in the morning quacking to be fed!
Pigs
We have 4 Gloucestershire Old Spot piglets and these are Adele’s favourite! They are growing bigger everyday and are a lovely sight to see racing around the pen and digging big muddy hollows in which to wallow.
Woodland Walks
At Woodlands Manor Farm we probably have some of the best views and countryside walks of any Bude holiday cottages. We have our own area of woodland with a signposted walk down to our stream which is beautiful at any time of the year. We are also happy for you to stroll around our fields and gardens but please be aware that we have two ponds – so please keep hold of little hands.
